Additional Course Materials (Media Components)

Media components are videotapes, DVDs or CDs which may be used in conjunction with textbooks in any Distance Learning course; they are included in all 9000-level core courses.

Please check with each instructor to see if a media component is required for your course(s).
If so, you can:

• Watch it on the DCCCD’s Cable Television Channel or as an online simulcast on your computer. WATCH NOW, FREE.
• Check it out from the media center at Richland College or North Lake College through the Media Loan Program. FREE.
  Note: this option is available only to Distance Learning students in the metroplex area who can physically visit either of these two campuses.
•  Check with your instructor to see if the media component will be embedded directly in the course offering through eCampus. FREE.
•  Order media components from MBS Books http://bookstore.mbsdirect.net/dcccd.htm if none of the above FREE options are available (see directions below)
